ORCHID TREE PARK & GALLERY celebrating art celebrating life celebrating fellowship

"Painting with light" is the advertisement that embarked Donna into the world of fused glass and shifted her artistic talent from water coloring on bisque tiles to "painting" with glass. Her landscape panels are truly a work of art and absolutely sparkle in the light. Her background as a watercolor artist helped her transform her skills into "painterly techniques" using multiple layerings and firings, dimension and texture that bring the glass to life.

Donna has won multiple awards for her glass art and her pieces are in private collections throughout the United States.

She holds classes at her studio located in Huntsville, Texas and plans to hold classes at The Orchid Tree Park & Gallery Workshop this coming year.

Orchid Tree Gallery is pleased to introduce a new artist.  C.S. Ellington is an abstract artist who has been featured on the cover of ‘The Islander’ magazine in Galveston.  She is an up and coming artist with many followers who have discovered her work in Houston at ‘First Saturday Arts Market’ in the Heights.  Camille has also spent many years living in New Mexico including Santa Fe.  Her memory of the balloon festival in Albuquerque coincides with her memories of the vast array of blue skies seamlessly blending into bursts of orange.  Join us in welcoming her to Round Top!

We discovered Gilberto at Barbara Meikle Fine Art Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His work in bronze, steel and stone clearly demonstrates his talent through the shape, line, color and even the negative space in and around each sculpture which expresses his feeling for family and nature.

We fell in love with his bronze dove and stone sculptures, many that are featured as water fountains. His 'Sweethearts' sculpture caught our eye and is absolutely beautiful! The two doves perched on the patina heart-shaped bronze sculpture tugged at our inner souls and we had to showcase it in our gallery!

His talent combined with his wife, Davery who creates the patina finish, are a magnificent display of love for family and nature. His studio is located on the outskirts of Santa Fe at his home. He does commission work for business and personal collectors but one must see his work to really appreciate his talent.
